Freedom At Last!

Great news, everyone! Jenn was officially discharged from the hospital this afternoon at about 4:45 PM. This was long overdue! The only bad thing about being realized when she was was that it was rush hour, so the drive wasn't exactly the smoothest. And, for as nice of an area as Highlands Ranch is, the roads are pretty crappy. Then again, it does snow here so that could be a factor. Either way, the ride took a lot out of her, so she is getting some much deserved rest in somewhere other than a hospital bed.

Hopefully she will be feeling up to blogging tomorrow. Talk to you all soon.

I am really embarrassed about the condition of our roads here. I live in Commerce city, and my wife Sharon has Chiari and was decompressed by dr Oro at Aurora on June 12th 2007. I'm sure the ride was rough. I have chronic pain from end stage liver disease, and bumpy roads make my pain worse, so I have plenty of sympathy. I wish and pray for a swift recovery for you.

This is just my story of my experience with Chiari. Until I was diagnosed, I'd never heard of it, and I just want more people to be aware of it. I'm not a doctor, so don't quote me on any of this stuff - k? If you are looking for information about Chiari Malformation, a lot of the more informative posts are the older ones.
