I did it!
As previously mentioned, I chopped off 9 inches of my hair today to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. 9 inches on the 9 month anniversary of my surgery. Here are the before and after photos:

Hello! My 3 year old daughter is going to have surgery for her chiari. for her it is causing sleep apnea. My question that I am hoping you can answer is what restrictions will she have? I mean will she be able to do sports when she is older and things like that or we she not have restrictions? Any info you could provide for our future will be greatly appreciated. I have no restrictions other than no bungee jumping. That's something I'd never want to do anyway since I'm scared of heights!
its been about a year now since i've had the surgery. my hair is now very short as yours is. I almost Died from not having surgery soon enough. I simply did not know the problems i was having were so severe. YAY US!!
